UTNIF Oratory

The University of Texas National Institute in Forensics is proud to announce the newest addition to its Original Oratory curriculum. In addition to the regular focus in Original Oratory, the widely requested minor in oratory will be offered this summer. Students with an oratory focus receive one-on-one attention, two practicum lectures each day, and access to one of the top oratory staffs in the country. These students leave camp with competition-ready speeches, and the know-how to guide their teammates through the process of writing an oration. We are excited to invite students focusing in interpretation or extemporaneous speaking to share in the experience by offering content lectures and personalized attention during special evening sessions.

As always, UTNIF oratory students enjoyed local and state success this year; two of our 2009 alumni competed in the TFA final of oratory this year (again), and many more will be representing their schools at this year’s National Forensic League. Get a jump start on next year!

UTNIF Original Oratory offers students:

• A very low staff to student ratio (last year the ratio was 1-4)
• Guided topic selection
• Access to the 6th largest library system in the United States for research
• Content and strategy lectures to help them succeed
• Editing and guidance by a national caliber staff
• Nightly example performances
• Tricks of the trade in delivery and memorization
• Personalized attention to help them meet their goals
• FUN, FUN, FUN!!!

Sincerely,
Kristyn Meyer
